The Nugget showing is located 250 metres east of Antler Creek and 1.2 kilometres west-northwest of Nugget Mountain, about 12 kilometres southeast of Barkerville. Access is via Highway 26 east of Wells, north along the Bowron Lake road, east along the 3100 road, and finally south along the upper Antler Creek road to the property.

The Nugget showing is a quartz vein striking 032 degrees, 45 centimetres wide, that contains 15 per cent iron oxide (limonite), 1 per cent galena, and 5 per cent vugs with quartz crystals (Assessment Report 24637). It is hosted by metasedimentary rocks (phyllite, phyllitic quartzite) of the Upper Proterozoic-Paleozoic Snowshoe Group. A sample from the vein analyzed less than 0.03 gram per tonne gold (Assessment Report 24637, Sample 21230).

The occurrence was documented during exploration on the Nugget Mountain mineral property in 1996 when about 3 square kilometres of bedrock across the western portion of the Nugget Mountain property was mapped. A total of 129 soil samples and 49 rock samples were collected. The Nugget showing is located less than 1 kilometre north-northeast of several showings (Gisco (093A 052), Zone (093A 055) and Pittman (093A 057)) that were explored along Antler Creek in the 1930s and 1940s, near the mouths of Nugget Gulch and Victorian Creek. In 1987, Rise Resources Inc. completed 419 kilometres of helicopter-borne magnetic and VLF-EM survey over their block of claims which covered the Nugget showing. In 2005, a total of 43 samples (9 soil, 1 moss mat silt and 33 rock) were taken on the Nugget Mountain project claims, which covers the showing, on behalf of claim owners R.J. Menard and G.J. Newell.
